One Rocket Complete

I know it’s been a while  A ruptured disc will put you out of action real quick.  See my other blog for details.

In the interim, I got one rocket finished.  Just needed one last section masked off and painted, which I did.  Also added the decal.  Finished height is about 72″.  Should reach about 3,500′ on three H219 motors.

I’ve also been working on others, very slowly, as my spine permits.  Yes, you can work on rockets in bed.  Just keep the epoxy off the sheets.

One rocket got the  fillets roughed in.  Still need to smooth these out, fill in the bits that I missed.

I also got the fin slots cut for another.  It’s shown next to a 48″ piece of foam for scale.  The nose cone and payload section (top half with electronics) will be shared between three rockets.  It has shroud installed to carry a HD camera as well.
